Note: The Princess Valiant Coffee Roastery will be closed from August 21, 2009 through September 3, 2009. Coffees will be listed again on September 4, 2009.

Princess Valiant Coffee offers fresh, gourmet-quality, coffee roasted right here on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula. While the merchants on this site are referred to as growers, Princess Valiant Coffee, of course, is not growing coffee in NW Washington! Most of the origins I stock are organic, sustainable, socially responsible and/or bird-friendly. Each batch is roasted to the level best for that particular bean, but never over-roasted. I take great pride in the coffee I sell and spend a lot of time finding just the right beans for my customers. If you need coffee ground, I provide that service at no additional charge. I only purchase specialty-grade coffees, and when sourcing decaffeinated coffees only choose those that are organic and water-processed.

Note: Depending on how inventory is packaged each week, a one pound order of coffee may be provided in two half-pound bags. Coffee is always best transferred into an airtight container and stored in a cool, dark cupboard – not refrigerated or frozen. Princess Valiant Coffee is now using only paper coffee bags which can be recycled if the tin-tie closure is removed.

We will be taking orders each week starting Fridays after 8AM and continuing through Tuesdays until 8PM. 8% is added to the listed price to support the market and the website hosting so that the farmers/growers/producers can receive 95% of their asking price.
